-- Newk’s Eatery, the fast-casual chain recently named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 list, has gone mobile in Florida with the arrival of its food truck in Jacksonville this December. The tour is part of Newk’s Project Strive Tour, which stems from the brand’s 15th anniversary and overall mission to exceed expectations for all guests. With a giant inflatable Newk’s Cup sitting on top, the truck is a completely self-contained 40-foot long Freight Liner that serves all of the delicious food that Newk’s is famous for and features two TV's and a stereo for game days, two awnings for hot southern days and outdoor lighting for nighttime use. Newk's hand preps over 50 fresh ingredients daily for hand-crafted salads, sandwiches and pizzas, with no fryers or microwaves, ever.
