The Empowered Kitchen

The Bus is a fundraising Tool & member launch of The Empowered Kitchen. We offer specialized wedding & corporate catering with the benefit of giving back to your local community. The Empowered Kitchen was founded in 2018 by Chef Chriss Brown and six of Jacksonville, Florida's most influential female entrepreneurs. As their businesses have expanded, they wanted to give back to the community by empowering other women to find independence through a career in the food industry. ​ The organization actively provides training and mentorship in all aspects of culinary and business education to women interested in the culinary industry. The founders are committed to elevating women's voices in the Jacksonville food industry.
